Peapods is a photography company nestled on the border between Norfolk and the Cambridgeshire Fens.
Peapods specialises in interior & exterior photography for holiday properties, guest houses, hotels and estate agents.
We use the latest digital equipment, techniques and software to produce stunning results that help you to successfully market your property and maximise your return on investment.
Although we work primarily on the Norfolk coast, we undertake projects across Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.

Service
Our photography service includes advice on preparing your property for the session, a flexible appointment scheduled to fit around your existing bookings, and post-shoot digital image processing and enhancement.
Equipment
We use the latest DSLR canon camera bodies. Our lenses include ultra-wide angle, flexible zooms and fixed focal length primes. We shoot using a wireless remote system, with additional synchronised fill-in lighting as required.
Techniques
For full-room shots we use HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography. This technique uses multiple exposures, merging the images together in post-production. HDR avoids dark shadows and “blown” highlights, increasing the level of detail and ensuring great results in any lighting conditions. For close detail shots we use lenses with a shallow depth of field, resulting in crisp focus on the subject and a pleasing soft, blurred effect in the foreground and background.
Digital Processing
Once the shoot is complete, HDR images are merged and adjusted, shots are straightened and cropped, colour balance checked and exposure optimised. We process every image making fine detail corrections, removing blemishes, and enhancing images to maximise impact.
Finished Product
At the end of the editing process we provide access to a shared online folder where you can view and download your portfolio of high resolution digital images, showing your property at its very best.

peapods story
Peapods is the creation of Norfolk couple Kat & Daryl. With backgrounds in computer programming and web design, and a shared love of photography, Peapods is the culmination of our joint skills and interests.
We were both born and bred in Norfolk, and enjoyed childhood holidays in Hunstanton and Wells-next-the-Sea. We have lived in the wild and windy fens for over 25 years. Our home office is situated in the middle of nowhere surrounded by farmland and wildlife.
We have spent over a decade developing and maintaining the Wells Guide website, a site dedicated to promoting the many delights of Wells-next-the-Sea and the North Norfolk Coast.
Part of that process has been photographing the sights and splendours of the coast, a most rewarding and enjoyable task.
Peapods evolved from our experience helping holiday home owners market their properties on Wells Guide. Realising there was a demand for professional property photography, and looking for a new creative challenge, we launched Peapods.
We love what we do, particularly spending time on the Norfolk coast, meeting new people, and taking photographs that will hopefully encourage other people to visit this beautiful part of the world.

A two bedroom property takes approximately 4 hours to shoot, and a five bedroom property 6 hours. Image processing typically requires twice as long as the time spent on location.
We can provide a checklist on request to help you prepare the property.
It’s not necessary for anyone else to be present. We can collect the key and return it to a safe place such a key locker.
The weather isn’t very important for indoor photography, unless your property has large picture windows or a conservatory. However it’s essential for exterior shots that we have bright, ideally sunny, conditions. We’re happy to reschedule if the weather isn’t favourable.
We usually aim to deliver one or two wide angle shots per room, plus one or two additional “story” or detail shots wherever possible. For a two bed property we usually deliver around 15-20 images, plus exterior and garden shots – season and weather permitting.
We usually provide your images in two sizes: 4800 x 3200 and 1200 x 800 pixels. The larger size is suitable for print up to A4, the smaller size can be useful for online property listings.
Our prices start from £200 for a one bedroom property. This includes the cost of the shoot, digital processing and delivery of your finished image files.
We can usually process images within 2-3 working days of a shoot.
We will send you a link to a shared online folder where you can view and download the images.
Yes. The images are yours to do with whatever you wish. We may use your images in our marketing, however we will credit and, where possible, link to your website if we do. You may find this helps your Google search ranking.
